Overview
Design and develop reports and dashboards to meet Quadax’s business needs, within the Revenue Cycle Services division. This position will gather reporting requirements, analyze data, and follow a development process to provide information needed by decision makers within Quadax or at a client. This is a hybrid position, requiring multiple days in the office per week.
Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of the Quadax complex database structures that resides in data warehouses and other data models. Consult with internal departments on data needs, and work with IT to provide new data and resolve data integrity issues. Validate client data to ensure accuracy and escalate data discrepancies.
Become a subject matter expert on reporting and dashboards, utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerBI connected to data warehouses.
Create custom reports to meet unique requests by working closely with the business unit. Participate in internal and client meetings to assist business units, particularly Client Engagement, on specialized reporting needs.
Follow a dashboard development process to ensure a quality product. This process requires gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating user group meetings, design and development of dashboards, quality assurance steps, and managing user acceptance testing (UAT).
Create dashboards in a summary format with drill-down capabilities. Match the most effective visualizations to the information being conveyed, to create an intuitive user interface that provides valuable business insights.
Contributing member of the Business Intelligence Team, responsible for providing Sales and clients with insight into industry trends, including CPT reimbursement rates, denials rates, and other trends. Understand client similarities and differences to perform peer comparisons.
Manage reporting projects to ensure timely completion that meets deadlines.
Using dashboards and custom reports, analyze client data to identify reimbursement trends to be communicated to the Client Engagement teams.
Troubleshoot problems with reports, including discrepancies with the data, and collaborate with subject matter experts to bring issues to resolution.
Qualifications
Four-year degree or equivalent experience in Business, Healthcare, Analytics, or related fields
PowerBI and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in SQL
2-5 years data analytics and statistical analysis experience with dashboard and graphical presentations
Detail-oriented and logical thinker with strong analytical skills
Ability to interface with internal departments and clients to understand reporting needs
Creativity to design an intuitive user interface for dashboards
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objective with minimal supervision
Desired experience in healthcare billing and reimbursement
