The Opportunity:
Responsible for managing the Diagnostic (DIA) Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) application
Provides implementation and operational management support for the software application, working with the Business Application Manager/ Business Application Lead to accomplish responsibilities related to the assigned application(s)
Partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the application caters to the need of business processes it supports
Responsible to thoroughly investigate reported incidents that involve applications’ abnormalities, failures or defects by leveraging technical/business expertise
Recommends/Implements technical and procedural improvements to ensure effective use of application
Promptly responds to urgent technical issues regarding system failures and escalates as necessary
Assists in development of training content, guides and associated documentation, that helps onboard the users on the assist application(s)
Participates in cross-functional groups focused on improving/maintaining high data quality in the assigned application(s)
Partners with Roche IT counterpart to maintain oversight of the business application(s) backlog, including specification/requirement management, acceptance testing, validation, documentation, data classification/security and user management (if applicable)
Trains and supports CDMA/Clinical Operations employees in technical use and troubleshooting of the e-Solution, reports and monitoring activities
Who you are:
You will have a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
You have 3 years working with or managing a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) application
You will already have at least 5 years of business/ system analysis/ analytical experience
You will have experience analyzing and solving business situations
You are comfortable demonstrating mid-level data management skills, including working knowledge of cross-functional areas
You have a basic understanding and experience of Agile methodology
Preferred:
Relevant clinical trial related technology experience is a plus
Comprehensive understanding of clinical development process is a plus
Experience with Diagnostics and/or Pharmaceutical Information Systems is a plus
Experience acting as a coach for colleagues with less experience and provide guidance

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Pleasanton, CA is $97,300 to $180,700 Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
