We are
seeking an individual with strong expertise in Linux and Storage in IT
Infrastructure field. This role will be responsible for administration of and
improving our *nix and storage environment as well as provisioning,
installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and
software and related infrastructure. Also, they need to participate in research
and development to drive innovation and efficiency within IT infrastructure.

Provide technical leadership to Run function team.
Handle day-to-day data center operations.
Roles
and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Installing, configuring, maintaining, performing upgrades and downgrades, troubleshooting, documenting for *nix servers and storage devices.
Administration and diagnostic resolution of advanced maintenance and performance issues on SAN/NAS storage platforms
Advanced troubleshooting of common block/file protocols, including iSCSI, NFS, CIFS etc
Configure and maintain storage infrastructure providing optimal availability, performance, and best practices.
Evaluate performance, monitor workloads, and analyze results to ensure optimal operations.
Maintain platform and procedural documentation.
Lead/coordinate projects including new installations, upgrades, retrofits, etc.
Develop and improve upon operational procedures and standards.
Enterprise business and engineering applications support
Required
qualities / skills:
Intermediate to advanced Linux and storage administration skills.
Hands-on knowledge of NetApp or EMC storage products is a must.
Partner with business to gather requirements and ensure needs are being met.
Architecture: Recommends and develops mission critical solutions; makes recommendations to address capacity constraints, performance limitation on wide range of technologies.
Project management: Ability to provide a thorough planning approach to large scale projects. Ability to define physical and logical resources needed to complete a project and meet deadlines. Experience leading project teams.
Inter-personal and communication skills: Capable of writing proposals or papers, acting as a supplier liaison, making presentations to customers, clients, and professional peers. Act as a technical leader and mentor.

Job Qualifications
(Required):
8+ years related IT System Administration experience
10+ years of IT related experience
Ability to work independently and in teams reaching high levels of productivity.
Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrates strong work ethics.
Other Special Skills
(Optional):
Relevant certifications
Bachelor’s or advanced degree desired but not required.
Experience working within the Semiconductor Industry a plus.
Contracts and vendor management.
Exposure to Atlassian tools JIRA/Confluence

Salary Range: $83,790 - $136,710
Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several
factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’
experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
