Job Summary
The person in this position works under general supervision to observe and control the behavior of students and non-students; to provide for the supervision and protection of students, personnel, property and equipment on a school campus. Primary responsibilities of the position are to:
- Interviews students to determine employment interests and career opportunities.
- Establishes job training sites.
- Works with local employers to develop ongoing student employment placements.
- Matches student interests with employer needs.
- Provides encouragement and monitors student progress at the job site.
- Assists students to develop career-oriented skills (writing resumes, completing applications).
- Counsels students in desirable work ethics.
- Collects feedback of student’s work.
- Contacts teachers, parents, and other agency personnel as needed, requiring tact, discretion, and courtesy.
- Participates in IEPs and/or meetings with student teachers, parents and other service providers as needed.
- Develops/implements plans for placement training.

- High School Diploma or GED
