About the role:
The Treasury Manager will play a key role in financing operations for the organization and support the Chief Accounting Officer with all real estate acquisition, cash management, and lender financing activities. The role will also assist the team with external reporting, forecasting, payments, bank account management, debt balance reconciliations, efficient financing, and interest expense analytics.
What you'll do:
- Preparation of forecasts of liquidity, including amounts available on multiple financing facilities; making certain assumptions for advance rates, collateral market value and line capacity
- Determining the most efficient means of financing pools of assets, using eligibility criteria on financing lines, cost of funds and collateral characteristics
- Pledging collateral and working closely with banking partners to ensure that the collateral pledged is within the eligible criteria for the financing facilities
- Support Treasury operations (wires, ACH, book transfers) and bank administration
- Review existing manual processes and determining more efficient means to improve and streamline such processes
- Prepare cash journal entries
- Perform various duties with respect to Treasury and Finance as assigned
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Real Estate
- 3+ years of experience
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to analyze and problem solve
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Excellent time management skills
- Quick learner who takes full responsibility for all tasks assigned and sees them through to completion
- Ability to work independently, as well as work well in a team environment
- Strong communication/ interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
- Experience in Microsoft D365 and GTreasury is a plus
Wedgewood occupies 50,000 square feet in a state of the art headquarters in Redondo Beach, California and has been named Company of the Year by the city. Wedgewood has additional office locations in Las Vegas and Dallas, and along with smaller offices throughout the country.
The salary range for this position is $100,000- $120,000 annually. In addition, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
