Your role at Clorox:
This role supports the preparation of the Company's financial filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. This includes analysis of quarterly results for SEC filings and drafting communications for those filings, coordinating the SEC filing and deliverables processes, implementing required disclosure updates by assisting in cross-functional projects, and evaluation of strategic transactions for proper disclosure treatment. This position has a high level of visibility to functional accounting and corporate finance leaders, and is an opportunity to drive change in critical areas of the Finance department.
In this role, you will:
- Support the quarterly close process and assist with the preparation of the Company's quarterly Form 10-Q, quarterly Form 8-K and annual Form 10-K with the SEC (e.g., preparation and tie out of footnote disclosures; coordinate internal deliverables listing and processing, and support the Company’s quarterly earnings release process.
- Prepare key quarterly calculations including earnings per share, non-GAAP metrics and rounding sheet.
- Prepare executive and audit committee presentation materials including balance sheet and other income and expense analytics and disclosure presentations.
- Develop relationships and work closely with cross-functional business partners in various Finance and Legal departments in order to provide accounting and business support, including research and recommendations on SEC Reporting issues as well as implementation of accounting changes.
- Attend quarterly and 10-K review meetings with business leaders in functional accounting and corporate finance departments.
- Review and update XBRL tagging in Workiva for existing and new disclosures.
- Support special project work as needed and other ad hoc tasks as assigned, including process improvements and implementing new processes.
- Provide support to internal and external audit activities, including providing and coordinating deliverables and maintaining SOX control environment.

What we look for:
- 3-5 years of related experience required
- Highly detailed oriented
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with SAP, HFM and Workiva preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
- Actively licensed CPA, preferred.
- Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred.
