This role involves recommending, developing, implementing, administering, coordinating, and evaluating policies, labor contracts, statutes, programs, and procedures related to academic recruitment, appointment, and advancement; compensation and salary administration; faculty welfare programs; visa procurement; benefits administration; payroll management; training and development; faculty misconduct; and faculty equity. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of Academic Human Resources and experience in managing various HR functions within an academic setting.

REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Acquiring knowledge of and ability to apply / interpret organization and college policies and procedures which govern academic HR.
Acquiring knowledge of organization, college, and departmental formal and informal policies and procedures, and understanding of variances to stated policies
Acquiring knowledge of organization's human resource management system (HRMS) and other related business software programs and systems
Acquiring knowledge of unit academic culture and educational goals of discipline(s) served
Analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organizational and problem-solving skills
Skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
