POSITION TITLE: Finance Manager, FP&A
POSITION PURPOSE: Assist the organization in achieving internal and external goals by analyzing the company's performance and providing feedback on areas of opportunity. Assume a leadership role in several crucial activities, including monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and long-range planning, preparing presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors, preparing quarterly earnings deliverables and completing ad-hoc projects as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepare balance of year monthly forecasts for the Global Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements as well as non-operating P&L line items (interest expense, minority interest, etc.)
Own the annual process and development of the Global Balance Sheet and Cash Flow budgets as well as the budgets for non-operating P&L line items
Review actual financial results, with particular focus on the Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statement and non-operating P&L lines
Conduct variance analysis vs. forecast, budget and prior year to uncover insights to drive improved forecasting, budgeting and decision-making
Act as finance lead on special projects related to new business development (acquisitions, new joint venture opportunities, go to market changes, etc.), including projecting cash flows and modeling return on investment
Provide financial and analytical support for the Americas Retail and Asia segments as needed
Communicate, collaborate with and influence regional finance teams and cross-functional business partners
Prepare deliverables for quarterly earnings calls and assist reporting team with earnings release preparation
Assist with preparation of materials for Board of Director meetings, Investor conferences and other leadership meetings as needed
Work closely with the general accounting and global reporting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Prepare deliverables for internal and external auditors on a quarterly basis and/or as needed
Work to continuously improve processes and procedures
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree Required; MBA Preferred
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 6-8 Years Finance, Accounting and/or Auditing fields, preferably in Retail or CPG
