As Product Manager within PNC's Retail Lending organization you will be based in Cleveland OH, Pittsburgh PA, Chicago IL, Atlanta GA, Wilmington DE, Charlotte NC, Tysons Corner VA, East Brunswick NJ, or New York NY. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

The Product Manager Senior – Cash Back Products role will serve as Product Owner for one of PNCs consumer cash back credit cards. This individual will be responsible for P&L management, product construct and value proposition, positioning and message hierarchy, creative and brand marketing as well as offers, pricing and fees across the product lifecycle.

• Proficiently manage the P&L to maximize profits and minimize expenses.
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise regarding all aspects of the product and the end-to-end client experience through the entire lifecycle from acquisition to onboarding through engagement and retention.
• Continuously monitor the marketplace for emerging trends relative to cash back card products, specifically those with flat earn reward structures, and recommend enhancements to ensure competitiveness, maximize growth and optimize profitability.
• Leverage tools such as Comscore, Competiscan & Argus to consistently observe and evaluate competitor communications throughout the lifecycle and their performance against the industry as a benchmark for PNC.
• Conduct regular consumer research to keep a finger on the pulse of the existing client base and their preferences, likes and dislikes relative to the product.

• Monitors the marketplace to assess product, technology, and market trends to identify a market need or opportunity. Recommends new products or enhancements to existing products or experiences and develops and designs innovative features. Manages the development, production, roll-out, pricing or promotion of specific products, and recognizes, anticipates and resolves operational and process problems that arise.
• Partners with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery, and other internal service partners. Participates in client-facing and external stakeholder activities to ensure all product offerings or experiences meet strategic goals. Develops product-specific marketing initiatives. Supports risk management, compliance and audit needs as part of the first line of defense.
• Drives business, financial and customer experience results of new and existing products and recommends modifications in product features and/or marketing to improve results.

Base Salary: $65,000.00 – $157,300.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.

Generally, this opening is expected to be posted for two business days from 06/27/2024, although it may be longer with business discretion.
