Integrated Solutions Modeling & Architecture (ISMA) directorate develops, evaluates, and implements architectures solutions for our customers’ largest, most complex challenges across all operational domains.

Supporting this mission are teams driving flexible integration solutions crossing all product areas (sensors, effectors, command and control, logistics and operations), developing tools and methods to evaluate system level studies and visualizations based on customer requirements.
These programs conduct a wide variety of multi-disciplinary research, development, and modeling tasks consisting of performance meta-model development, military campaign modeling, and visualization of study results.
The section lead will conduct regular communication and coordination with external customers, industry associates, subcontractors, and warfighter tactics specialists.
This role entails significant industry collaboration and high customer visibility.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Lead and participate in trade studies, research, development, and implementation of Operations Analysis solutions to support warfighter capability needs.
Lead and participate in development and implementation of model-based solutions to support mission trade studies and performance simulations and ensure they meet defined requirements and functions.
Lead and participate in performance engineering practices and procedures to evaluate work across a wide range of intriguing operational problems.
Extensive interaction with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Technical SMEs.
Extensive interface with the customer community on a regular basis to share status, issues, and address programmatic concerns.
Oversee the direct line management activities for the section including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition.
Collaborate and communicate with other sections and teams.
Support department and directorate level initiatives.
Ensure employee compliance with company policies and procedures.
Section Leader duties account for approximately 10-20% of the employee’s time.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of Engineering experience OR an advanced degree in STEM and 8 years of Engineering experience.
An active and in-scope secret US security clearance
Minimum 10 yrs. experience in modeling & simulation.
Minimum 8 yrs. experience in the Defense industry required.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
Master’s degree in mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
Ability and/or experience leading engineering teams.
Experience in coordination and diplomacy skills in collaborating cross-industry, including subcontractors, our customers and with the warfighter.
Ability to demonstrate solid leadership skills, team building and outstanding communication skills.
Experience with weapon or sensor system modeling.
Experience with campaign-level models.
Experience with Rapid Campaign Analysis and Demonstration Environment (RCADE).
Strong verbal and written communication skills
An active top-secret US security clearance

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
