What you will do:
As an Inventory Control Technician, you may coordinate messages, appointments, information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies and mail. You may also research, compile and proof word processing assignments. Operates automated office equipment.
- Responsible for performing the physical and/or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment
- Picks various work order types accurately
- Move inventory to pickable stock locations
- Maintains records of received goods, alerting appropriate personnel to inspect unsatisfactory items when necessary
- Must be able to proficiently operate a variety of material handling equipment which may include, but not limited to: forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies
- Participate in periodic inventory cycle counts
- Maintain a computerized inventory system, reconciling discrepancies as required
- Conducts fact finding and problem solving as required
- Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends? ?
- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/ or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects; consistently walking
What you need:
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred??
- Manufacturing Experience, preferred
- Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic math, preferred
Travel Percentage: 10%
