Maintain daily communication with factories and vendors to resolve production issues. Assist with seasonal T&A for merchandising based on fabric qualities/allocation. Coordinate with merchandising on minimum order quantity and booking deadlines for each season and programs. Coordinate with Product Development, Design and Tech to review production standards and deadlines. Send vendor buy charts including style, description, content, buy quantity and target delivery to negotiate best time and action. Coordinate with Logistics to verify duty and freight rates for each style. Request BC from vendor once cost and delivery is confirmed. Review bulk and trim submissions and approve based on due dates in WIP - Request fabric and garment test reports from testing facilities. Review and approve care label artwork layout. Track weekly WIP's from all vendors to ensure they are on time with schedule. Review shipping documents for delivery and units to make sure they are shipped within the 5% tolerance. Coordinate with Quality Control regarding any issues with stock garments received. Alert vendors of any problem with bulk shipment received in COI - Negotiate with vendors to ensure delivery meets company requirements and is within our delivery time frame. / Experience We're Looking For Minimum two to three (2-3) years of work experience in apparel production Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Word, Excel, and EBS. Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet all objectives and allow the various initiatives of the Sourcing department to be accomplished in a timely manner. This position requires incumbent to establish effective work relationships across multiple levels and functions. Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as a part of a cross-functional team.
