Agile & IT Business Analyst, Mid
Key Role:
Support application and system rationalization and perform as a key business analyst working with various resources to analyze technical and business applications. Work with an agile team and stakeholders to document and perform requirements analysis. Work with the client’s IT applications and systems to capture and define system requirements and associated business processes. Work with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements and translate them into system requirements for developers to implement. Translate and document business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories, process charts and workflows, and standard operating procedures. Coordinate with developers and testers to ensure understanding of requirements. Support implementation of tools and features that meet needs and requirements of the client systems. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Work without considerable direction, anticipate client's needs, and proactively provide solutions. Develop reports, write knowledge content, and prepare presentations for senior management as required. Work in a dynamic, demanding, and fast-paced environment and perform key Business Analyst functions, including coordinating and communicating with numerous stakeholder teams. Leverage consulting skills needed to successfully collaborate with federal Business Owners, IT Project Managers, and developers. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
6+ years of experience with management consulting, supporting a large public or private sector multi-channel contact center modernization effort
5+ years of experience with technology projects
5+ years of experience in a business or requirements analyst role
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and best practices
Experience with requirements management tools, including Jira
Experience performing data analysis and developing BCAs and AOAs
Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working with teams in an Agile environment
Knowledge of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
Possession of excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and initiative taking skills
SAFe Agile Scrum Master Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
