The Political Action Committee (PAC) Manager will oversee day to day operations of the PAC to include – but not limited to -- budget, disbursement, compliance, governance, internal and external communications, reporting, vendors, banking, and growth. Additionally, the PAC Administrator will be charged with the day-to-day management of all legal and regulatory requirements associated with lobbying and PAC disclosures at the state and federal levels and corporate policy alignment. As an integral member of the Government and Customer Relations team, the ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and the passion to take an existing PAC and grow it into an industry leading PAC while also while also gaining experience in other facets of Government and Customer Relations ranging from policy research and analysis to lobbying. Operating both internally and outward facing, the candidate must always act with integrity, trust and with a “we before I” mindset, honoring the missions we serve.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Advance and support the role of the Government and Customer Relations team and the importance of public policy issues with Peraton’s internal and external constituencies including presentations, written communications, and attendance at select events.
• Develop and execute Peraton Corporation’s PAC strategy, planning, fundraising and events.
• Develop and manage marketing strategies and solicitation campaigns throughout the year to build awareness of and support for Peraton Corporation’s PAC.
• Develop and coordinate a PAC newsletter, updating on PAC activities and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key political fundraisers.
• Oversee day to day operations of PAC (donor database, budget, disbursement, compliance, governance, communications, reporting, vendors, banking, fundraising, growth, solicitation campaigns, correspondence, records, internal processes, political events calendar etc.).
• Collaborate with outside counsel to ensure compliance with all federal and state rules, guidelines, and laws, keeping apprised of developments in political and election law.
• Collaborate with internal corporate stakeholders and outside political counsel for successful management and execution.
• Contribute to development of strategic and legislative advocacy campaigns.
• Assist the SVP Government and Customer Relations with operationalizing state lobbying.

• Team player who is a self-starter, decisive, able to work independently, organize and prioritize daily workload in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail and deadlines, outstanding judgement, and discretion, and is passionate about their work.
• Demonstrated process management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field with 10+ years, or a Masters and 8+ years of experience with a blend of public policy, political fundraising, campaign management, political action committee, communication, or event planning experience.
• Knowledge of Federal Election Commission campaign finance laws/guidelines and best practices.
• Experience working with Federal government and legislative processes.
• Impeccable communication skills, verbal and written, to communicate concisely and precisely, confidently and comfortably with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint skills, Word, and SharePoint; data analytics a plus.
• Experience successfully encouraging and growing PAC participation including planning political events.
• Demonstrated research, data collection, and analytical skills.
• Proficient using PAC compliance software systems.
• Ability to travel as required, up to 10%.
