CRITERIA:
- Provide assistance to teachers in planning and implementing instruction;
- Assist teachers in exposing students to a wide variety of educational
experiences;
- Incorporate objectives of the state-adopted framework into classroom instruction;
- Instruct students in concepts under direction of a certificated teacher;
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions;
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course
of work;
Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Any combination of training, education and experience, which demonstrates an ability to perform the duties of the position. A typical entrance background is completion of college level course work in the specialized field and experience providing lessons for students or experience working with student groups.
Note: Incumbent is not required to hold California Teaching Credential.
