The Getty Foundation fulfills the philanthropic mission of the J. Through strategic grant initiatives, the Foundation strengthens art history as a global discipline, promotes the interdisciplinary practice of conservation, increases access to museum and archival collections, and develops the next generation of arts professionals.
Reporting to the Foundation's Associate Director, the Program Associate will be responsible for managing the graduate internship program at Getty and the Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship program at Getty and at more than 60 organizations throughout LA County during an eight-month, limited term period of transition in the Foundation.

Major Job Responsibilities
Tracking of internship applications from initial development through review and award process;
Working with organizations to develop successful proposals;
Managing review committees and intern events;
Managing relationships across departments and programs at Getty;
Developing and executing supervisor training for internships;
Onboarding of interns at Getty;
Monitoring grant reports, including budgets;
Updating data in digital content management systems;
Managing relationships with grantee organizations through site visits, fielding inquiries, and problem solving;
Conducting evaluation of internships and drafting reports.
Qualifications
BA in art history or related field (MA in art or architectural history, archaeology, or related field preferred);
Minimum five years' work experience in a non-profit cultural or educational organization, preferably with experience managing internship programs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in an education or non-profit arts setting;
Highly organized and detail-oriented;
Ability to prioritize and multitask;
Project management skills;
Ability to communicate effectively with interns, staff, and consultants;
Experience with organizing information into one or more databases, content management, amd digital or electronic systems;
Ability to work effectively in team settings as well as independently;
Knowledge of philanthropic sector and internship programs a plus.
