Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Database Analyst.
In this role, the successful candidate The Database Analyst will support the following programming needs: data and code version
control, cross-validation protocol implementation, writing codes (including porting and modifying
pre-existing codes) for feature selection, classification, model evaluation, sensitivity analysis,
testing protocols for overfitting, High-Performance Computing (HPC) job submission and
management, and results reporting. The Database Analyst will work with the Principal
Investigator in clinical prediction modeling and the particular challenges of and special
considerations for data science in medicine and the field of mental health in particular.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy a digital biomarker pipeline to process video and audio data.
Drive further development of analysis pipeline for processing video and audio data
to derive digital biomarkers.
Implement robust quality control measures to ensure the validation of data and conduct
thorough analysis to extract meaningful insights.
Conduct downstream digital biomarker analysis.
Manage package release and automation.
Develop and test the pipeline.
Handle pipeline virtualization.
Manage the usage of packages and generate the virtualization of the data analysis results
to maintain research efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Knowledge of electronic data capture (EDC) design and programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS degree or higher in computer science, engineering, statistics or related field with 1-2
years related experience.
Requires an in depth understanding of data collection, data flow management, data
manipulation, data archiving and data standards.
Knowledge of database and data software technologies.
Experience with python or a similar scripting language (ex: Java Script)
Ability to work on multiple projects, tasks and priorities to achieve desired goals
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrated strong teamwork and organizational skills, and outstanding interpersonal
skills

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $74,200.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
