Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical, mechanical, and general contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for a Chief Estimator in Mount Vernon, NY.
Chief Estimator Compensation & Benefits: Total compensation for the Chief Estimator is $220,000 - $315,000.

Chief Estimator Duties & Responsibilities:
Assign responsibilities to estimating team on each project.
Solicit pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare instructions to bidders, bid form, and bid solicitations.
Prepare conceptual budgets based on minimal information.
Reviews general conditions, schedule, scopes of work, hoisting plans, site logistics and other exhibits as prepared by Operations.
Reviews and manages scoping of specialty contractors bids.
Constructability reviews.
Participation in the transfer of information on successful projects including the Job Kick-off Meeting.
Assist in the preparation and review of work plans.
Participate in periodic reviews and visits to projects as appropriate.
Pricing of change impacts as required.
Chief Estimator Qualifications:
Strong employment stability
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or administration, or 15 years in estimating of projects valued at $200M or more.
Proficiency with MS Office, Timberline, OST, Revit.
Willingness to travel as required.
Detail oriented, strong work ethic, ability to work in stressful situations.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
