The Inside Sales Account Specialist is responsible for generating qualified opportunities for new business and onboarding new customers as part of CPG’s efforts to build a centralized sales department designed to penetrate alternative verticals and volume segments. Duties and Responsibilities
- High volume cold calling & email outreach to prospective customers
- Consistent lead sourcing and prospect generation
- Managing a sales pipeline and closing deals with new and/or previous customers
- Interfacing with Salesforce CRM and maintaining relevant administrative responsibilities
- Effectively utilizing additional sales tools and lead generation applications
- Remaining current on industry/market trends
- Cross-collaborating with commercial and operational teams to ensure a world class customer experience
- Bringing creative and entrepreneurial thinking to a new internal department
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Process oriented
- Not afraid to pick up the phone and call prospective customers
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to cold call
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written) required using different tools (text, email, phone, video)
- Experience with basic computer functions
- Experience in Salesforce preferred
- Previous sales & closing experience is preferred
- Experience in shipping / logistics is a plus
