Job Abstract

The District is seeking two (2) temporary, full-time maintenance workers in the Field Operations Division. The temporary maintenance worker will assist District Water/Wastewater Systems Operator with dead-end flushing, hydro-cleaning, CCTV inspections, USA utility locating, service orders, and hydrant maintenance.

Assignments not to exceed 1000 hours or 6 months, whichever occurs first.

The temporary Maintenance Workers in the Field Operations division will assist Water/Wastewater Systems Operators with field tasks and maintenance on the District's water distribution and wastewater collections systems.

Candidates with experience in the water or wastewater field, meter repair, and/or underground maintenance is preferred.

Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license is required.

Work may be performed in all types of weather including high heat days and cold and rain.

Selected candidates will be required to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
