Position Summary:
Will provide technical support to manage and propagate application changes in various SAP related systems. They will be responsible for facilitating and managing the day-to-day system related changes and incidents, and ensuring they are tracked, managed, and executed upon in a fast-changing environment. They will be responsible for periodic compliance reporting, reviewing change logs, privileged user access, and perform SAP user license audits. Essential Job Functions:
Administer the software change lifecycle for SAP related systems. Ensure all changes have been tested and approved, review and approve change instructions, and communicate change information to IT and business owners.
Support change control processes, to ensure consistent standards are followed in the propagation and customization of application software and related components, from development to other environments (eg test, production)
Maintain processes, procedures and forms for SAP incident and change management. Seek out opportunities for improvement in incident and change processes and assist in their implementation to support broadening SAP technology platform.
Assist with development of formal system documentation as required by application standards and methodology. Participate in documentation reviews as appropriate during monthly releases and larger scale projects • Facilitate the ongoing efforts of investigating incidents in SAP related systems, performing root cause analysis, and providing long term resolution.
Perform periodic audit compliance reporting for system changes, privileged user access logs, and security role changes. Investigate and report on exceptions and recommend improvements to reduce risk of recurrence.
Perform periodic SAP user license audits, coordinating with HR with onboarding and offboarding processes, and with departmental owners to validate usage information.
Develop and provide training and coaching as needed to ensure incident and change procedures are followed and that standards are met consistently.
Help schedule and coordinate meetings as needed, take and publish notes, and follow up on action items as appropriate.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree specializing in business, related computer technology or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in providing technical support for SAP On-Premise or Cloud applications
1-3 years of experience in using SAP GRC Access Control / Cloud Identity Access Governance
Willing to work off hours or weekends as needed.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including compliance with privacy and security policies and procedures, attendance, and participation in required training
Proficiency with Microsoft’s office desktop solutions, most specifically Excel and PowerPoint a must; SharePoint, Visio, Teams, a plus. Familiarity with ITIL processes, ServiceNow is an advantage
Possess interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of Business and IT
Demonstrates time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently, take initiative and provide follow through
Exhibit collaboration and teamwork skills
