Job Summary/Purpose
Assist in the management and execution of strategic communications activities for Entergy corporate and operating company projects.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Work with VP, Strategic Communications and team in managing departmental communications project activities – both in operating company special campaigns and sustaining stakeholder engagement projects.
- Create written content, and help in coordinating the creation of visual content, for strategic communications workstreams geared toward stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor and track departmental project tasks, budget spending and timelines that support multiple external campaigns and their associated activities.
- Collaborate with internal communications teams in the execution of strategic communications activities -- including Internal/External, Nuclear, CSR and Utility and Customer Communications.
- Assist in maintaining the coordination and alignment of corporate social media and branding functions within strategic communications and company-wide objectives.
- Work with internal campaign execution team, including External Affairs stakeholder engagement staff, on research, development and distribution of messaging materials for key stakeholders.
- Research, contribute ideas, write and edit content for external customer communication vehicles ensuring consistency in tone, voice and alignment with company branding principles and strategies.

Minimum education required of the position:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

- 3+ years of relevant experience
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:
- Strong verbal and written skills including the ability to express oneself in one-on-one and group settings.
- Organizational skills and proficiency in managing multiple project portfolios.
- Initiative and willingness to take on responsibilities, face challenges and find ways around barriers to success.
- Project management experience including background in working with analytical tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment to changing internal and external circumstances.
