Utility Technician- Day Shift
Location: City of Industry, CA, USA - 18551 East Gale Avenue
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm . Overtime is mandatory when required. Shift subject to change based on the needs of the business.
Full-time, permanent. Benefit eligible.
This position will report into the Supervisor, BioMed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Mentoring of all incoming personnel to the Utility area. Overseeing training is completed and systems are used and understood by new employees
ISO documentation to be filled out and submitted for all areas of Utility area.
Able to support receiving incoming medical equipment; Both the physical receipt of materials into the warehouse inbound staging area as well as the electronic receiving into McKesson’s computer system; verification of the bills of lading, the notation of any missing, short dated, or damage to inbound shipments
Clean, disinfect, and maintain portable biomedical equipment
Ensure the service area is clean and orderly, providing a safe environment for service personnel
Ensure accurate database entry and reports if applicable.
Ensuring the service area, shipping, and receiving is clean and orderly, providing a safe environment for service personnel in accordance to ISO standard.
Expected to meet production goals set for department
Able to support Shipping: Be able to help identify required equipment needed for the orders both onsite or at other McKesson branches. Verify order accuracy; Packing the orders in a safe, effective, and efficient manner; verifying order accuracy, and shipping of each order both physically and electronically.
Other duties and tasks as directed by the Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.

Additional Qualifications
1+ year(s) of experience in a similar role in a warehouse environment is preferred; prior shipping and/or receiving experience would be considered an asset
Must be capable of cleaning, moving and organizing portable medical equipment.
Some knowledge of medical equipment is preferred
MS Office at a basic proficiency level
Able to learn McKesson’s asset management system, (OneTrack) and effectively use this software for tracking all medical equipment
Team player with excellent customer service skills
Strong English communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within a diverse team
Strong attention to detail with the ability to remain flexible and respond to changing priorities while remaining focused on meeting goals with intermittent distractions
Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to multi task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Professionalism and mature sense of accountability
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly
Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude
