Responsibilities

The Program Support Officer (ISO) will serve as the central point of communication within the section, office, and interagency, ensuring seamless interaction with international organizations. The ISO will conduct detailed analyses of various data sets and participate in in-country visits to provide technical support for monitoring and evaluating HIV/AIDS programs.
Serve as the primary conduit and liaison for information and communication across sections, offices, interagency partners, and international organizations.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses of routine programmatic data, survey data, surveillance data, financial data, and quality data.
Conduct in-country visits with senior US Government and host country officials to provide technical support for PEPFAR teams and supported countries in monitoring and evaluating HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment programs.
Assist in the development, approval, implementation, and reporting of operational and strategic plans for PEPFAR countries and regional HIV/AIDS programs.
Support data analysis and preparation for the PEPFAR dashboard, fact sheets, and other dissemination products.
Coordinate all communication channels, including email correspondence, telephone calls, meeting notes, and action memos, acting as a vital link between the Director, Deputy Director, and subordinate managers.
Provide accurate, timely guidance on procedures, reports, requirements, and other matters to implement the Director and Deputy Director’s policies, directives, and instructions.
Keep the directorate informed on current issues and programs, and schedule briefings for the Director and/or Deputy Director as needed.
Assist in monitoring and managing team workflow, communication, and morale, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Engage in programmatic components and substantive issues covered by the directorate, contributing valuable insights and support.
Provide administrative support for the coordination and collaboration of agencies in program implementation.
Manage incoming calls and visitors, directing them to the appropriate staff members and handling routine inquiries efficiently.
Respond promptly to requests for information, including report status, duty assignments, and compliance deadlines, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Support the preparation of annual Country Operational Plans and quarterly POART reviews, ensuring administrative efficiency and adherence to timelines.
Maintain the calendar and schedule appointments based on an understanding of office leadership interests and commitments, optimizing time management.
Handle all aspects of travel arrangements, including scheduling visits, making transportation and hotel reservations, coordinating with officials, and submitting necessary documentation and reports promptly.
Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications: Must be self-motivated, have strong attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills. Must be in good physical condition and can occasionally travel.
Education and Experience:
BA/BS in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Sciences or allied sciences or related field appropriate to the work of the position.
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen. MODERATE RISK PUBLIC TRUST clearance required.
