Duties:
Back up the Mail Manager.
Inspect, accept, or reject incoming deliveries and inventory all incoming deliveries for PBGC according to agency procedures and policies.
Promptly report all delivery discrepancies to the Project Manager.
Stock supply shelves and closets, perform inventory of items stored in Shipping and Receiving (S&R) and closets, and update findings in the supply ordering database weekly.
Manage day-to-day supply room operations, including distributing and delivering supplies to individuals.
Ensure the cleaning of kitchen/break rooms at the end of each month once an announcement has been provided to staff from the COR or designee.
Communicate effectively and continuously with PBGC customers and team members verbally and electronically.
Load and unload freight, shipping, and receiving shipments, ensuring safety, and preventing damage.
Respond to all inquiries via phone or email promptly and professionally.
Perform all work safely and efficiently and operate all equipment appropriately and safely.
Lead personnel in loading, unloading, and setup when required.
Maintain custody and care of all items stored in S&R and maintain cleanliness and organization of S&R shelves, tables, and cabinets.
Assist with office moves and collaborate with PBGC Receptionist on reservations for conference room setups, including setup of plasma screen TV, poly-com telephones, and table configurations.
Remove surplus supplies from PBGC program areas and stock pantries with paper towels and other accessories.
Stock copier rooms/areas with copier paper of various sizes and respond to requests for assistance with paper jams and quality problems.
Affix and remove signage as requested by COR or designee.
Provide centralized supplies and office support services and manage and operate a centralized on-site supply center.
Process all printing and supply requests and ensure all required forms are submitted on time to meet printing request deadlines.
Monitor and order copier paper.
Maintain office supplies and respond to requests for supplies.
Support office support services with developing process and procedure documents, supporting ongoing administrative functions, and supporting the PBGC Library/Information Center with managing corporate documents and directives.
Support all conference room services, perform daily room inspections, notify the PM of any equipment malfunctions or non-working items, replace dry erase markers and other supplies, and reset chairs to ensure the room is neat and tidy.

Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40 - 70 pounds and be able to walk for long periods of time during an office move, equipment distribution, receiving merchandise from loading dock, provide escorts to visiting contractors, etc.
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Outlook.
SharePoint experience or the ability to learn new software programs is desired.
Education and Experience:
Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience relative experience.
