Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are the following:
Quality Assurance Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and systems.
Inspection & Testing: Oversee inspection and testing processes to ensure product quality. This includes setting up and maintaining optical testing equipment.
Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and quality metrics.
Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality considerations are integrated into product design and manufacturing processes.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Quality Engineer will have the following:
Strong attention to detail and a focus on achieving quality results.
The ability to identify and report issues effectively.
Experience in quality inspection or a related field.
Proven ability to maintain accurate and complete quality records.
Familiarity with quality control equipment and procedures.
In-depth knowledge of quality standards and testing methods.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems (a plus).
Prior supervisory experience (a plus).
