THE JOB

Working in conjunction with our promoters, marketing and production teams, this position is responsible for the planning and execution of concerts, as well as responsible for managing the internal processes relating to these events.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Execute local bookings in the Live Nation Capital Region (DC/Maryland/Virginia)
• Serve as local booking contact for Live Nation Touring office for specific venues assigned.
• Establish, build, and maintain positive relations with agents, managers and industry representatives.
• Manage both month-end and show-by-show venue settlements in third-party venues assigned.
• Execute co-promotor settlements as needed.
• Communicate with marketing, ticketing and production teams for events booked and settled.
• Handle all regional local agents, assisting with national acts where appropriate.
• Negotiate contractual deal points between LN and artist agents.
• Research local talent for stand-alone nights.
• Manage budget of each event to ensure financial success.
• Execute on-site artist and venue settlements for the Capital Region team (avg. 2-4 per month, depending on season)
• Coordinate with venue staff to ensure successful show on site.
• Responsible for forecast projections of events booked.
• Manage internal documentation as required (ROME, calendars, ticketing, etc.)
• Maintain calendar at venues booked (if applicable)
• Represent Live Nation at Industry/Office events as requested.
• Ensure and maintain superior customer service.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

• Strong knowledge of music and concerts, both historical and contemporary
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Ability to problem solve and be available to do so late at night and on weekends as required.
• Ability to communicate, communicate and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Impeccable organizational skills
• Self-starter
• Must have 2-4 years’ experience in the music booking, concert and or event industry.
• Must have high level of expertise in MS Office (outlook, excel, word, PowerPoint)
• Must have a personal vehicle with ability to travel amongst the DC/MD/Virginia area.
