The Inside Sales Representative will have overall responsibility to manage and fulfill customer orders with duties including the development of proposals, bids, quotations, custom inquiries, order entry and acknowledgement and follow-up.

What You’ll Do:
Support regional sales personnel to ensure RFQ’s have the required accuracy and timeliness
Prepare bids and proposals and ensure compliance of commercial and technical specifications with customer requirements
Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing etc.) as required to prepare bids and proposals
Assist and improve cost estimate strategies and validation for standard, configurable and custom engineered products
Serve as lead in updates and development of cost proposal/quotation system and processes
Thoroughly review and validate prepared quotes as required before submission to customer
Assist in the development and implementation of common standards and procedures for commercial and technical proposals while collaborating with national team to create operating policies to mitigate risk
Lead initial assessment efforts of technical, financial, schedule or any other unusual risks associated with tenders/proposals
Serve as subject matter expert in the bid/budget/planning preparation processes related to sales support and proposals
Serve as the liaison between internal and external customers, seeing product management and development through to fruition from order to delivery
What You’ll Need:
BS/BA or similar degree or an associate degree with the equivalent work experience
5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
2 – 5 years of experience within customer service or a customer support role
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to reach results
Proven ability to work independently
High level of data manipulation and reporting knowledge
Advanced project and bid management skills
High level of organization and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritize activities
Proven high level of coordination and customer relationship management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
Builds and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers
