We are seeking an Executive Director Business Transformation and Agility to lead and implement global business transformation strategies, integration of new teams and global footprint, leveraging talent acquisition and development in key geographies while delivering on business simplification, productivity, and effective ways of working.
Accountabilities:
As the Executive Director Business Transformation and Agility, you will be responsible for defining and executing business transformation strategies which will enable superior quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the business. You will elevate the organization through internal and external visibility by supporting with presentations. You will also actively collaborate with key networks across AZ and externally to gain awareness of current industry trends to contribute and influence new evolving practices. You will oversee global implementation and management of projects involving the transformation of organizations, and skills related BE/OTD sites.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelors, Masters or PhD in a scientific discipline
- 8+ years pharmaceutical experience or strong experience in consulting and analytics
- Deep scientific thinking and experience of drug development
- Demonstrated experience of strong stakeholder management and engagement, and also successfully managing cross-functional teams on sophisticated projects
- Change management & change leadership experience, comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended resolutions
- Oncology project management experience, preferably in early-stage development
- Experience with driving lean/six sigma/process improvement
- Excellent knowledge of AstraZeneca policies, procedures and guidelines
