Pre-Season

Constant awareness of both competition and market trends with an ability to translate trends to commercial big ideas, identifying the next big thing
Ability to analyze and hindsight seasonal sales, product assortment and competition/white space to develop an assortment strategy that can be easily communicated to all cross-functional partners (Design, Sourcing, Planning, etc)
Build Roadmap for design articulating newness needs by month with AUC targets, as well as clear direction on carry forward products (where updates or new colors are needed)
Creates marketing opportunities that are supported by merchandise investments and ladder back to over-arching brand initiatives
Utilize product strategies and analytical results to plan all merchandise buys, in accordance to budget, for each quarter and present the line at assortment and investment reviews
In Season
Utilizing strong financial acumen, analyze and dissect reports and selling information and then translate the data into actionable information to drive results
Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Styling, Site Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, etc to ensure key items and big bets are elevated and supported from an Omni perspective. Ability to take action and drive changes with these key players when business is soft
Drive partnership with planning and allocation on reviewing sales, receipts, markdown cadence, and style color counts
Approve fit on key products/buys and ensure product execution meets the design aesthetic as well as commercially acceptable quality standards
Analyze the competitive environment and use knowledge to positively impact results, making recommendations and identifying white space
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in Merchandising with 4+ years of Footwear experience highly preferred
Strong analytical skills and business acumen
Self-motivated, multi-tasker with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to lead, influence and play an integral role within a broader team, connecting the department expectations to company vision
Highly cross-functional with the skills to build consensus among a team and achieve results across a variety of partners
High taste level
Strong presentation skills

Salary Range: $108,800.00 - $136,000.00
